Shares of Unity Software traded up ~15% Tuesday on news1 that the company will release two new artificial intelligence (AI)-based products, Sentis and Muse, later this year. Sentis enables AI inference on end-user platforms, eliminating latency and costs associated with hosting AI models in the cloud. Today, Muse powers AI-based search across Unity documentation, training resources, and support content via a chatbot interface. In the future, Unity will enable Muse to power the creation of 3D assets, textures, and characters using natural language and sketches. Additionally, Unity is launching an AI marketplace in the Unity Asset Store that will offer third-party solutions related to generative AI, AI/machine learning (ML) integrations, and behavioral AI. Unity provides collaborative software to develop real-time 2D and 3D assets for applications in simulations, digital twins, game development, and augmented/virtual reality (AR/VR).
